We pay attention and often look for ways to spoil you during the process—we hope you like surprises! Even after you say, “I do,” we find ways to prove we’re intentional and not just photo takers. After your wedding, we will meet again for the grand reveal celebration of your online gallery, where we take the guesswork out of printing your photos and album design.

We plan the heck out of all the details through custom timelines based on your values and relationship. We don’t follow the rulebook of traditional wedding to-do’s. We don’t just send a pdf and cross photo ops off a checklist—although you can expect us to break out the polaroids like the one grandad had.
Over the last 4+ years and counting, we’ve photographed over 50 weddings with couples consistently booking with us for the unique experience we offer. We have built a foolproof process that allows you to be present, relax with peace of mind, and live a day that feels just like you.

"5 stars isn’t enough for Ivan! 😉 Ivan is a true artist and lover of people, and that was obvious from the moment we met! After getting a recommendation for Ivan Amssan Photography to do our wedding photography, we had the opportunity to chat via FaceTime to meet Ivan so he could hear our story, our wedding plans, etc. Ivan intentionally listened and got to know who my (now husband) and I were, our love story, and what we were excited for in that season of engagement. He showed us that he cared, valued the overall concept of marriage, and wanted us to have solid photographic memories of one of the best days of our lives together. And then there was our wedding day. ❤️ Ivan knew how to lead, direct, and carry our (very large) bridal party through various photos on a cold, windy day. And he did this with such ease! I was particularly amazed that he memorized everyone’s name (we had 18 people in our bridal party!). The significance of simply saying people’s names made Ivan feel like a friend to us all, and what a special part he was of our amazing day. I can’t recommend Ivan Amssan Photography enough! We are so thankful that Ivan captured our wedding day with such lovely, pure, and raw images. Plus, he has some pretty great dance moves!"
